Post-construction and handover cleaning

Once the builders have gone, fine dust lingers in every rail and runner. We prepare the building for its provisional handover or its first occupants, lift building residue without harming the new materials, and tell you about anything we notice along the way.

How we go about it

  1. Choosing the moment

We plan the clean after the last works and before the handover or the move.

  2. Knowing the materials

We ask which floors, tiles and joinery have been fitted, so that nothing is damaged.

  3. In-depth cleaning

From top to bottom: dry dust removal first, then wet cleaning and residue removal.

  4. Your report

On request, a report with photos of everything we noticed.

What shapes the price

No two jobs are alike. Your quote takes these factors into account:

  • Surface area and number of rooms
  • Amount of building dust and residue
  • Number of windows and working height
  • Floor coverings and finishes
  • Handover date

Our methods

Questions we often hear

When should handover cleaning be scheduled?

Once every trade has finished. If a painter or installer still has to come back afterwards, a second short visit is often needed.

Do I get a report for the handover?

On request, we list the defects we find, with photos. This report does not replace an expert’s assessment or the architect’s handover report.
